Supercat Ferry (BCD-ILO)

Coming from Bacolod-Silay Airport, we rushed to the Bredco Port Terminals to check out ferry boats bound to Iloilo. Our very nice shuttle van driver suggested us to take the Supercat ferry 'coz (according to him) it's the most convenient of all the ferries.

According to my research (again), Oceanjet ferry has the cheapest roundtrip ticket from Bacolod to Iloilo, only 370 pesos. We were there at around 6:30 a.m. and we missed its first trip which left at around 6:15 a.m. The next schedule was at 8:15 a.m.

We looked for other ferries around and saw that the next earliest ride will be at 7:30 a.m. - the Supercat. It's more expensive than the Oceanjet ferry but for 450 pesos, we will be seated at the Tourist Class (aircon) of the boat. We purchased the promo tickets and decided that the return ticket will be open-dated. We were reminded that the return ticket should be used within a year after the purchase date. Should you wish to make a specific date and time of return, you will be booked but if you want to have an open-dated ticket, the seats are subject to availability.

This was my 2nd ferry experience. The first was the Oceanjet ferry from CEB-TAG-CEB. And compared to my first ferry ride, this time is different. We were seated in the aircon area or tourist class. The seats were comfortable. The staff were very responsive and attends immediately to the needs of the passengers. The toilets were clean and tissue papers were refilled everytime it's consumed. 

Overall, it was very reasonable for its price. I would definitely ride in Supercat again.
