She is a student of life. She loves to read, sing, swim and drink black coffee. Adores the sunset and the sand on her feet. Hates conformity. Loves individuality. She has the most amazing day job - being a public high school teacher. - January 12, 2011

The author was thinking of an "about me" write-up that could probably give you an idea of who she is and why she started this blog. And as she was about to write the first sentence for the nth time, she couldn't do it. She just can't. She
can't do it without sounding too flashy.

She has been into different fields of work but found happiness and freedom in teaching Music and Arts to high school students in a public school in QC - keeping her sane for years now. And then she got bored during one of their long Christmas and summer breaks and found herself reading the blog of Chyng Reyes. And she was hooked.

She started her own blog on her natal day in 2011. She intended her personal space to be a journal kind of thing where she chronicles her daily musings on teaching and everything in between. But then, as she explored more and more on travel-related blogs, she got enthralled. And since then, she never stopped discovering new things and places that brings felicity to her life.

Join blissfulguro as she tries to change the world one kid at a time and as she explore the world one happy place at a time. - June 6, 2013

    1. Hi there. Yung "mas mahirap" eh depende sa capacity mo to handle kids or teens. Ako kasi mas challenging for me ang magturo sa elementary dahil di ko kaya ang classroom management pag younger kids so mas ok ako sa High School. Regarding naman sa friend mo, I guess yung time management rin lang and priorities. Ako kasi I love teaching and at the same time has this passion to travel. Dun siguro nagkakaiba. Kasi kung gusto mo yung mga bagay na ginagawa mo hahanapan mo talaga ng oras :)
