BOHOL: Bohol Bee Farm

Right after our Hinagdanan Cave adventure, we headed to the famous Bohol Bee Farm. Sabi ni kuya tatsky, mabubusog daw kami pagkatapos ng trip namin sa BBF.
Rough road ang papunta sa BBF, pero magugulat ka kasi ang dami talagang dumadayo sa lugar. We have decided na 'di na kami mag- avail nung Bee Encounter. Medyo maulan kasi, eh 'pag ganun daw medyo "wild" ang mga bees. haha.

Too much spreads! You'll go loco over it.
We immediately went to their organic store. Oh yes, every edible stuff they sell is organic. Batas talaga si kuya tatsky dahil kilala siya ng lahat ng staff doon. And also, he gave a brief background of the Farm and the couple who owns it. We were lucky that time because we were the only ones who were in the store, walang kalaban. haha. (As usual, kuya tatsky served as our official photographer/ guide/ free entrance).

Free taste anyone?
There were loads of spreads, breads, honey, hot beverages and other knick knacks. And the best thing about this store is the free taste. Right next to each item, there's a free item for you to try. For example the spreads; there's a crouton-like bread and the spread beside it. You can eat as much as you want and you can ask for a refill afterwards.

I love the hot chocolate! I had 5 jiggerfuls.:)
The hot chocolate is the best! There were several thermos pots and you can choose from their wide variety of hot chocolates, salabats and coffees. I tried all but I really loved the hot chocolate. Nagpa-refill pa kami! haha.

Want some honey?
There's also an area for the honey (duh!it's Bohol BEE Farm!haha). It's so pure that there's a pitcher of water in that section, for cleansing. hehe. We were so full and satisfied with everything we tried. The malunggay and pesto spread was a hit! I really love it! I tell myself, Pagbalik ko sa Bohol Bee Farm bibili ako ng bonggang spreads.

The Buzz!!!
Next was the "Buzz" Ice cream. Boy Abunda meets the honeybee sabi nila. haha. And just like the organic store, you can have a free taste here. Kuya tatsky taught us how to say "patikim" in their native language.  The free taste is on a popsicle stick-like thing and you can try as much as you want. Right after we tasted every ice cream, we decided what flavor to buy. It's 50 pesos for 2 hefty scoops of ice cream on a cassava cone. I chose Malunggay and Avocado ice cream. (Greens). I didn't like the Ginger but my friend loved it. (Diversity). I loved the malunggay flavor. It's nice and different. And how I missed it. Haaay.

The restaurant/ buffet/ swimming pool area.
Bees everywhere.
We then headed to the restaurant/buffet/swimming pool area. It has a nice ambiance and if you're a nature lover- this is it! We didn't see their "overlooking the beach" area 'coz there were lots of tourists either checked-in or availing of their farm tour. There were many buses and cars in the parking area that time.

Oh yeah?

If you happen to be in Bohol (Panglao Island), don't miss the Bohol Bee Farm. We were there for like an hour but its was so bitin! I will definitely go back to Bohol Bee Farm! Thumbs up!
